Why do you feel nervous when talking to a human you fancy to ask on a date?\ Why don't you feel nervous when talking to a human you don't fancy to ask on a date?
Why do you feel nervous when pitching a client on a new gig you really want?\ Why don't you feel nervous when pitching a client on a new gig you don't really want?
Why do you feel nervous when publishing a highly personal written work online?\ Why don't you feel nervous when publishing a status update to your friends on Facebook?
Why do you feel nervous talking to that internet famous person at the conference you just attended?\ Why don't you feel nervous talking to some random person at the conference you just attended?
It's because you think you have something to lose.
But do you really have anything to lose?
If the human you fancy says no, what will happen?\ If the client rejects your proposal, what will happen?\ If people hate your work online, what will happen?\ If you make a fool of yourself in front of someone you respect, what will happen?
What would it be like if you did these things as if you had nothing to lose?
